Email Addresses: When you create an account or sign up for our updates, we collect your email address to run your account and to send you the communications you have opted into. You can manage these at any time on our email preferences page.

App Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app's performance, including:

• Feature usage patterns
• App crashes and error reports
• Voice interaction performance (no actual voice recordings are stored)
• Recipe import success rates

Subscriptions: ChefTalk Premium is sold as an in-app purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we never receive or store your payment card details. We record only whether your account has an active subscription.

Voice Interactions: ChefTalk processes voice commands locally on your device when possible. Voice data is only sent to our servers for processing when necessary to provide cooking guidance, and is not stored permanently.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain your ChefTalk account and subscription
• Improve the ChefTalk app's functionality and user experience
• Fix bugs and enhance app performance
• Send you product updates and other communications you have opted into

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Anonymous usage data may be shared with analytics services to improve the app
• We may share information if required by law or to protect our rights
• In the event of a business transfer, user data may be included in the transferred assets

Third-Party Services

ChefTalk integrates with recipe websites to import cooking instructions. When you import a recipe, you are subject to that website's privacy policy for any data they collect.

Children's Privacy

ChefTalk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as ChefTalk evolves. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
