These terms apply to ChefTalk's beta testing program through Apple's TestFlight. By participating in beta testing, you agree to these terms.
By signing up for early access, downloading ChefTalk through TestFlight, or using our beta app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use ChefTalk.
Beta Software: ChefTalk is currently in beta testing. The app may contain bugs, incomplete features, or other issues. Use the beta software at your own risk.
TestFlight Distribution: ChefTalk beta is distributed exclusively through Apple's TestFlight program. You must comply with Apple's TestFlight terms and conditions in addition to these terms.
Limited Availability: Beta access is limited and may be revoked at any time. We reserve the right to manage the number of beta testers and remove participants if necessary.
Free and Premium Plans: ChefTalk offers a free plan that includes unlimited recipe imports (via URL or search), automatic translation on import, and one voice cooking session per month. A paid Premium plan unlocks unlimited voice cooking sessions, recipe imports from photos, and early access to new features.
Pricing: Premium is offered at $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year (USD). Prices may vary by region and are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase. We may change subscription pricing in the future; any changes will not affect your current billing period.
Billing Through Apple: Premium subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases and all payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. ChefTalk does not collect or store your payment card details.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price.
Managing and Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your Apple ID account settings under Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Premium access until then.
Refunds: Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms. Any refund requests must be directed to Apple.
Availability: Premium is being introduced ahead of ChefTalk's public release on the App Store and will become available for purchase when the app launches there. Features and pricing described here are subject to change before launch.
You agree to use ChefTalk only for legitimate cooking and recipe management purposes. You will not:
As a beta tester, you may provide feedback, suggestions, or bug reports. By providing feedback, you grant ChefTalk the right to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback into the app without compensation or attribution.
Your use of ChefTalk is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Recipes: ChefTalk imports recipes from third-party websites. We do not own or control the content of these recipes. Use of imported recipes is subject to the original source's terms and conditions.
Copyright: You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and use any recipes. Do not import copyrighted content without permission.
Food Safety: ChefTalk provides cooking guidance, but you are responsible for food safety practices. Always follow proper food handling, cooking temperatures, and safety guidelines.
Dietary Restrictions: ChefTalk does not provide medical or dietary advice. Consult healthcare professionals for dietary restrictions, allergies, or health-related concerns.
Beta Limitations: The beta version may have limited functionality, temporary outages, or data loss. We are not responsible for any inconvenience or loss resulting from beta software limitations.
ChefTalk is provided "as is" during beta testing. We disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the beta app, including but not limited to:
We may terminate your beta access at any time for any reason. You may stop using ChefTalk at any time by deleting the app from your device and unsubscribing from our communications.
We may update these terms as ChefTalk evolves. Significant changes will be communicated to beta testers via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Your use of ChefTalk through TestFlight is also subject to Apple's Terms of Service and TestFlight terms. In case of conflicts between these terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms take precedence for TestFlight-related matters.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where ChefTalk operates. Any disputes will be resolved through appropriate legal channels in that jurisdiction.
